I have a usb hooked up to my pi and mounted at \mnt\usb1\ so it always drops it at the same location. I have it samba shared so all the windows machines on the network can see it and interact with it. I mainly use it to store files for plex and a few other things that need big rather than fast storage.
go to put something on the other day and suddenly, can't access, can't access, can't access. I can ssh into it fine, I can even turn on one of the other computers on the network, my laptop in this case and use that to copy files from my main computer to the pi. sometimes after that it magically started working fine again. Todaty I turn on my compyer an try and go clean up some folders, cand cant access again. can still SSH in.
I had the ip set on the pi via "/etc/dhcpcd.conf". I comented that out earlier and set it to static IP via my router just n case but still nothing.
I am far from a networkng or pi expert, everything have done has been from tutroials for the most part and guesswork, I am totally baffled if anyone has any idea's
