I have been using a Raspberry PIs for sometime. I have encountered a situation where the items on my viewable GUI are enormous. I have tried to get it to connect to a monitor but it will not. I have attempted various changes to the HDMI settings in /boot/config.txt but have not gotten a workable outcome.
I have a similar PI-3B that does work both remotely through VNC and on my Monitor. The second one only has a higher capacity MicroSD card at 128GB whereas the problem unit only 32GB. I had used this unit for sometime and I have been out of the loop for a few years. Because I cannot get it connected to my monitor and the RealVNC Viewer view of the desktop is more or less unusable I am asking for some suggestions.
I am able to use the 'nano' editor to make changes to the /boot/cinfig.txt file if required. and am conversant in a terminal.
Any help would be much appreciated ...
