I'm reading Jeff Geerling's blog and am curious if this sdram tuning tweak has made it into firmware updates as of yet:

Also, On the 16gb's blog, it refers to a January update specifically for the 16gb that tunes memory and performance.
Is this the SDRAM tuning tweak mentioned above? If so, will it soon be available on the 4 GB and 8 GB models?
The tweak can be applied manually of course. I'm not familiar what would happen to the manual tweak applied once it gets deployed as standard.
