Raspberry Pi 400 and 500 • Bluetooth Full Fidelity Playback BT issue

I have been using Technics headphones and Technics earbuds fine on my Pi 400. Yesterday, I found although they connect, no audio comes out using full fidelity playback profile (the default it connects with). If I manually select headset profile, I get audio but it sounds crap and distorted. Now this is the weird thing, I tried some cheap earbuds and headphones and they do audio on full fidelity playback just fine.

I have no use for headset profile as I am playing music/video. Nothing has changed so is just weird.
