Currently running off a Google Pixel 5 adapter with short USB-C to USB-C cable (my long cable doesn't work).

OnePlus charger sometimes works with a OnePlus cable but not with a generic cable.
Generic charger sometimes works.

Why is this so unreliable?

Looking for options to provide power to the Pi 5 and do
* a RAID array with adaptor rated 4A @ 12V, and
* a network switch with adaptor rated 0.5A at 12V.
