Compute Module • CM5 RAM Options – Is 16GB Coming?

I see that the CM5 has been released, and there's already a "Buy Now" button.

However, I couldn’t find any mention of a 16GB RAM option on the official website or in the documentation. Interestingly, some distributors, such as Reichelt, list a 16GB RAM variant in their descriptions. I've also heard rumors circulating that a 16GB version might be in the pipeline.

Looking at the PCB, there's an unpopulated area for a resistor or jumper, but it’s not labeled.

So, my question is: Does the 16GB option exist or is it planned for future release? Could there be a specialized industrial version with 16GB?

Does anyone have any knowledge?
