I'm still looking for a fix for the inability to edit files on a NAS using LiberOffice on the RPi. See my October 2023 post for more details.
Briefly, when I try to open a file on OpenMediaVault or SAMBA, I get an error message that the file is in use. If I choose the option to open a copy, it will not save it to the NAS but will save if locally. Other apps, i.e Texedit, can open, edit and save their files on the NAS just fine. File Manager can copy files to and from the NAS.
All other OSes (Mac, Win, X86 Linux) can use LibreOffice with files on the NAS without issue, The Ububtu OS available using Imager works fine on the Pi as well.
It would be most helpful if someone could address this apparent bug. I keep my hobby-related files on the NAS and really need edit access from the Pi.
Thanks!
