I am pretty new and would be very greatfull for some help. I searched various combinations of my Problem on google and the forum search and wasn´t successfull. Please help to point me in the right direction.
I have the rspi 4b and the poe hat as well as the rfid kit from coding world.
I want to create an RFID Reader that has only a poe plug in the back and sends rfid tag ID and scan time to a sql server and gives feedback via LED.
So I need following hardware:
rspi
poe
rfid reader
led
After installing the peo i have no longer access to the pins and am cluless how to continue. The official post about the poe hat says to use a 2x20 riser that will let the pins poke through the poe hat. But I cannot find this riser in the store here in Germany or the documentation on what pins are used by poe and what pins I can pass through and add a second connection, let alone a third for the leds.
is the best solution to do it via the 2x20 or is there a way to simply use an usb rfid reader and led header?
Any ideas or pointers are very welcome!
