I'm building a video server for a museum, which will play a video under certain conditions. The Pi4B will be headless and unattended most of the time.
I want to be able to connect a video monitor to HDMI-1 to login as needed for debugging, but normally it would be disconnected. I want to connect the auditorium screen to HDMI-2, and I don't want the login prompt or cursor to appear after the video ends.
If there's a program I can run like vlc that would blank the screen, that I can kill on demand, that would be OK. If the login terminal appears momentarily after the vlc video ends and the screen-blanking begins, it's not ideal but might be tolerable.
