Hi all,
I'm using a Pi 4B + 7" Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 (720x1280). I noticed that when the Pi is turned on, there's no indication on the display that device has been powered on. About 10-15 seconds after supplying power, the "Welcome to Raspberry Pi OS" splash screen comes on.
I also bought one of the original 7" Touch Displays (800x480 model) and hooked it up to the Pi. I noticed that this display shows the rainbow splash screen immediately. In my specific situation, it's somewhat important for the user to get some sort of indication on the display that the device is on, as soon as power is supplied.
Has anyone else ran into this issue? I would much rather use the Touch Display 2, it has much better viewing angles and a higher resolution. I looked through the docs, but I don't see anything about this. Please let me know if I'm missing anything.
Thank you in advance!
