I'd like to use my Raspberry Pi Pico to make a 16-bit binary counter with the corresponding output routed to the GPIO pins. I tried the Squarevawe example and it works well (at 1 MHz, but at 10 MHz it is very distorted). Now I'd like to make the counter 16 bits, but I can't write to 16 GPIO pins in real time. Do you have any examples? Thanks.
