I have searched the web, and came up with just "two" sources giving "some" info about how they managed to get Arch Linux Arm to work on a RPI-5.
https://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopi ... 30&t=16659
https://kiljan.org/2023/11/24/arch-linu ... 5-model-b/
Unfortunately, i have tried to follow their instructions but i have failed to even decompress the tar file (ArchLinuxARM-rpi-aarch64-latest.tar.gz). I tried to use "Ark" to unpack it, it failed. I got all kinds of errors. The resources i found use "bsdtar" to unpack this file but debian doesn't have that. So i used tar command in terminal but then i got these errors:
"cannot change ownership to uid...................."
and
"could not create symlink to........................."
I am using "sudo tar...." by the way. In any case, even if i can somehow unpack this file with your help (hopefuly), i do not know which files/folders to put to the "boot" partition and which ones to the "root" partition of the sd card i have created (at least i could do that one). It is not clear.
Can anybody help me out here?
The final piece of the puzzle seems to be swapping the uboot of the default Arch release with the RPI Foundation kernel, in order for it to boot in RPI-5, which should be straightforward i guess.
