Hi,
When I created the pi OS i set it to the same user as my PC,
say "david" after realizing this i created anotehr user "david-pi" and no when i log in to the pi it always shows me the login screen and i need to select a user and enter passwords. I don't want this - i only want david-pi.

how can i completely remove david?

i appears david is still holding processes even after restart:
chupi-pi@myPi4:~ $ ps -u david
PID TTY TIME CMD
784 ? 00:00:00 systemd
785 ? 00:00:00 (sd-pam)
814 ? 00:00:00 pipewire
815 ? 00:00:00 pipewire
816 ? 00:00:00 wireplumber
817 ? 00:00:00 pipewire-pulse
829 ? 00:00:00 dbus-daemon
980 ? 00:00:00 xdg-permission-
1080 tty1 00:00:00 bash

or:

david-pi@myPi4:~ $ sudo deluser --remove-home david
Looking for files to backup/remove ...
Removing crontab ...
Removing user `david' ...
userdel: user david is currently used by process 3612
deluser: `/usr/sbin/userdel davi' returned error code 8. Exiting.

and

i can't kill these and i can't delete david

so how do i do the following:

1. completely remove david
2. make sure that after restart it will automatically log in - no user/password?
