I have a Raspberry Pi 4 which i use as a Plex Server. I set it up four years ago following different videos and have barely tweaked anything since. I also have transmission and VNC working on it.
My OS is on a 32 GB SD Card and my media for plex is stored on a 4tb portable hard drive, and I’m thinking of swapping this out for a a M.2 SATA Expansion Board for Argon ONE And 2tb SSD. My two questions are;
1) will this improve perfomance?
2) how can i swap the hard drives without starting a fresh install?I don’t have the energy to go through the set up again and will I won’t be transferring all the media over, I’d like it to be as painless a process as possible with the settings of the Pi and folders that Plex points to remaining. In short I just want to fiddle around as little as possible.
