I am using a Pi 4 with the standard graphical desktop. It recently told me there were updates, and I clicked on Install Updates.
All went as I expected until the very end. Then I got a message saying there was an error. Foolishly I did not note down the exact message, which I realise will make it difficult to help me, but I can remember enough of the message to give approximately.
I was told the error was in a post-install script for Raspi-firmware (definitely mentioned firmware, can't recall the exact item).
So do I need to worry about this, and if so what should I do? In case it is relevant, I mention that I had booted off an external drive.
