I recently got a cooling fan for my rpi5 off of ebay and it came with a tach wire. I am a beginner and was wondering if there was any beginner friendly way I could learn how to connect the fan to an external power source but connect the tach wire to the gpio pins and read the input so that I can count the rpm's and display them onto a screen, I want to do this with python and I don't want to just copy code I actually want to learn something
