I'm experiencing an issue with my Raspberry Pi 5 where it boots into emergency mode when both the SSD and SD card are connected. Here's the situation:
Setup: Raspberry Pi with the operating system installed on an SSD. I use an SD card for additional storage.
Issue: When both the SSD and SD card are connected, the system sometimes boots into emergency mode. However, if I remove the SD card, it boots normally from the SSD.
Attempts to Resolve:
Updated the boot order to prioritize USB/SSD booting using raspi-config.
Verified that there are no entries in /etc/fstab related to the SD card.
The root account is locked, so when the system enters emergency mode, I can't access the terminal or perform any recovery steps.
