Hi all,
I'm auditioning DLNA / UPNP servers at the moment in the hope I can start using my Roku Soundbridge M1001 again. I have an existing OSMC server running on a Pi 4 with all my media attached to it, unfortunately the UPNP server mode built into OSMC / Kodi doesn't seem to be compatible with the Soundbridge as although I can see the server, I can only browse so far before I get an error. Which brings me to...
MiniDLNA / ReadyMedia seems to fit the bill as it can be run on the same Pi 4 as OSMC without messing up things, however I've come across a deal breaker in that I can't seem to sort artists with any preceding "The" removed. (i.e. Rolling Stones, The).
Support on MiniDLNA seems fairly limited with only one fairly simple config file to edit (that I know of) I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows if this is even possible.
If not the search goes on for a nice lightweight server, so please add any suggestions. (Though please not Gerbera, already wasted too much time trying to get that to function and I strongly suspect it won't play nicely with OSMC either)
Many thanks.
