Graphics programming • (M)JPEG Decoding through v4l2 API

Hi everybody,

Recently I wanted to revive some of my old project which used hardware MJPEG decoder on the Raspi.
In the old times I did it through the OpenMAX, but the new way seems to be the Video4Linux.
I have enumerated all the /dev/video devices looking for a jpeg decoder, but it seems that there is only jpeg ENCODER, and a bunch of other decoders (h264 etc.)
What am I missing? Is it still possible do use HW acceleration on the newest Raspbian versions?
