Will console-setup allow change of console resolution beyond 24x80? Say I want the console, the actual console, not a terminal session, to be 60x200 (rows x columns). Yes using stty rows 60 cols 200 and a terminal reset ansi code works... but it is temporary, you reboot, and the console returns to 24x80. There does not seem to be anyway to force this to be persistent, nor a kernel parameter option to change it. Kernel default is 24x80 but want to override that. Given that stty command can override means it is possible if I can only find the right place to change the setting(s).
