I have mainly been recording on a Raspberry Pi 400 (which has 4GB) with the the X11 KDE Plasma desktop. I also have a Pi 5 4GB of RAM but I would really like to see if I can get something on the 400. I like SimpleScreenRecorder, however if I record videos over about two minutes it does a glitch and it just looks horrible. I don't know why this is, but I suspect it's because the RPi is not fast enough or something, since it's only running at 1.8 GHz compared to the Pi 5 at 2.4 GHz. I also tried OBS Studio which overall I really like and no graphics glitch however... the FPS is absolutely horrible and I had to turn the quality way down just to get it to not overload the CPU. Does anyone have any suggestions worthy of YouTube?? Please tell me if you do!
