Beginners • how do I install LibreOffice

I am running a Pi 5 and would like to have LibreOffice installed, or some other open source office application.

I cannot find documentation on how to do this. I dd a add/remove software and did an office search. There were only a few items labeled as LibreOffice,so I did it and nothing shows up in the main menu for the application.

I am surprised that at the original installation an offce app was not installed like it used to be on my older Pi 4.

Suggestions?
