My 4Gb RPi5 is exhibiting strange behaviour... If I shut it down and leave it a while (power lead still plugged in), then press the power on button, it fails to startup and the ACT light flashes eight times, indicative of SDRAM failure, and it fails to boot. Pressing power button again results in eight flashes and no boot. If I remove the power lead and plug it back in, most times it will boot. If it boots successfully and I try a reboot it boots OK. If I shut it down and press power button within a short period, it boots fine.
Any ideas? Is it on the way out and should I send it back for replacement before warranty expires?
