WayLand on a pi5 with a vga screen via hdmi to vga adapter.
The mouse pointer appears as a square block, bigger than a standard mouse pointer. It is plain white with fuzzy bits that could be very small, extremely small, text.
This makes using the mouse pointer almost impossible to use.
ALSO the right hand side of the screen, the mouse pointer DISAPPEARS, as though it THINKS the panel is there so auto hides the pointer?
I have the panel at the BOTTOM of the screen, so it might only occur like this? The mouse pointer still works. If I can guestimate the position.
It is the same with both wayland options - wayxxx and labwc.
With exactly the same os on a pi4 installed at the same time and updated the same, this does NOT happen (which might or might not be relevant!)
RichR
p.s. I tred panel at the top - still as bad.
I tried setting defaults for scren size - no change, I tried changing mouse pointer size - no change.
The mouse poiter (point of actiuon) appears to be at the top left corner of the 'annoying artifact'.
