Troubleshooting • PI5 NVME - No longer working, is the Pi5 or a recent update

I have a Pi5 that I've used with two different brands of PCIe/NVME boards that have worked OK until recently, this week the NVME is not working and the messages I'm seeing are 'PCI Timeout' & 'Failed to open NVME'. As a result I've attempted to resolve the issue as follows and in this order:

1. Checked power, using genuine Raspberry Pi5 power supply.
2. Reseated the PCIe cable, and orientation.
3. Replaced the PCIe cable.
4. Reinstalled latest Pi5 OS along with all updates.
5. Updated config.txt
6. Tested 2 different NVMe boards, Pinoromi & Sunfounder Pi5 NVMe PIP.
7. Checked/changed eeprom settings.
8. Tested alternative SSD's

I think that's it, the NVMe boards power LED is green and the SundFounder board is supplied with 3amp power, lsblk & lspci not showing anything?

So have I missed anything, I'm running out of ideas and beginning to wonder if the Pi5 is faulty, if it is how are warranty claims handled?
