Raspberry Pi OS • Rpi5 won‘t boot - Getting an error something like this: cma: cma_alloc: linux, cma: alloc failed

Hello, I became a Rpi5, Type B 8gb on Christmas. I instantly installed „gnomeforpi“ (https://github.com/TheMaroonHatHacker/gnomeforpi), because I think the offical Raspberry Pi OS GUI is horrible. Me and my father installed Retropie too so we can play our favorite games on one device. I said him to buy an nvme ssd because it is wayy too slow. We bought an nvme and it didn’t work. We searched a little bit and found out, that this ssd is incompatible. However, he bought a compatible one and it worked, then he copied the contents from the micro sd card to the nvme. He said, that everything is working fine, and I can test it.
But when i tested it, im getting an Error something this:

Code:

 cma: cma_alloc: linux,cma: alloc failed
I‘ve done a bit of research and they said I have to modify the

Code:

/boot/firmware/config.txt
. I already modified it a few times by my own to get mupen-64-plus (a Nintendo 64 emulator) on retropie to work, but i don't know what my father did. As soon as I can, I’ll ask him… However, when I tried to modify it, I couldn’t find it,

Code:

/boot/firmware
was empty. Now, I don‘t know what to do, because I can’t find any solution for the disappearance of

Code:

/boot/firmware
. I‘m suspecting, that it is, that

Code:

/boot
isn‘t mounted, because if i type

Code:

df -h
, it says that something isn‘t mounted. From 1 - 10, how good was my english? Im 13 years, from Germany.

Happy new year,
Matti
