Troubleshooting • Pi 5 no longer booting from M.2 SSD HAT

Purchased a Pi 5 kit + M.2 SSD HAT (Using official Raspberry Pi 256GB NVMe SSD) a couple of weeks ago from ThePiHut.

It seems my SSD HAT + SSD has died quite suddenly. The system became unresponsive overnight (it runs Ubuntu server) so I rebooted. Did not come back online, hooked up a display, and im getting the following repeating its self (see screenshots). If I plug in the SD card I can boot to Pi OS, if I run lsblk the SSD is not found. If I run dmidecode, it doesnt seem to be seeing the HAT either. I have reseated the HAT and ribbon cable, but still have the same issue. Also when trying to image using the imager the drive is also not found. I have also tried another M.2 SSD, that is also not recognised.

Thanks
