Ubuntu • RPi400/Ubuntu 24.10 - Claws Mail Disables Keyboard?

After a crash under 24.04 (I think), I rebuilt from scratch with 24.10. Everything is fine, ‘cept Claws-Mail (moon) doesn’t accept keyboard input at setup. It’s not the keyboard, which is OK everywhere else. Also tried a separate USB keyboard, same problem.

Any ideas? Or confirmation?
