Canakit Raspberry Pi 5 with the 512 GB SSD, preloaded with Bookworm. I have a known good account password that works fine for SSH & Authenticating software install & removal etc., whatever. But if I just Logout and try to log back in nothing will be accepted?
I have a 78 key "Official Raspberry Pi Keyboard," which BTW isn't listed in the keyboard layout listing (hmmm)... My setup defaulted to a Generic 105 key keyboard, which types every character of the password in question for testing correctly when the system is up. Of course you can't see what it's typing at the login screen!
Before I start experimenting with changing the password etc., and perhaps Bork everything up, perhaps someone knows how to straighten this little(?) configuration thing out? Please!
Thanks: DES
