Raspberry Pi 400 and 500 • Pi 500; questions and setup

Hello. Got a Pi 500 with monitor for my mother for Christmas to replace her Windows 11 laptop. She isn't very technical but she has me to help her, and I have you to help me. First, besides making sure the Bookworm OS is up to date and going through setup, is there anything else to do? Firmware? Drivers? Is there a BIOS to tweak? Important programs to download? Besides that, here are my questions.

She does online karaoke on a website called Singsnap. Will I have to do anything to get the USB Audiobox by Presonus working or should it be plug and play?

How does wireless printing work? I have a MFC-L2690DW. Should I install the .rem or .deb? How do I configure the wireless part?

Plan on adding a 32GB USB driver for storage. Also have a 1TB external USB HDD she may use. How do I have to partition them?

Is it possible to set up a Bluetooth speaker and Bluetooth mouse at the same time?

I hear Chrome works better with Singsnap but Firefox works better with Youtube. Can I have both? Is Chromium the same(practically speaking) to Chrome?

PS. First time to this forum. How do you use the list feature?
