I am using a Raspberry Pi 5 (also 3) headless. The remote access via VNC works well. I can also adjust the screen size.
I would like to add additional virtual desktops with the commandThis work and an additional desktop :1 is opened. However, the Raspberry Pi OS GUI Desktop is not started. There is only a completely gray screen (with the correct resolution). With a right mouse click a gray menu (looks like ancient X11) shows, that allows starting a terminal. Unfortunately, this terminal shows up on desktop :0
How do I get the normal Raspberry Pi OS GUI desktop working on the new virtual desktops? This used to work in the past on older versions of Raspberry Pi OS..
I am using a brand new installation of Raspberry Pi OS (64 bit) and it fails on a Pi 5 as well as on a 3.
