I just got the Pimoroni NVME base. I installed an SSD on the base and connected it to RPI5. It all works well.
But there's one thing bothering me:
I wanted to boot from a USB disk while NVME was connected. So I went to raspi-config and was surprised that there is no option to boot from USB if NVME is available. I think this is a serious omission. When one needs to try a differently configured OS or a different OS all he needs to do is to just swap the USB drive. That is now impossible to do. Removing an NVME is not a practical option if nothing else because frequent handling of the RPI5 to NVME base connection is just calling for trouble.
Does anyone know a workaround for this?
