Beginners • Safe Shutdown in power outage via UPS

Power outages/interruptions are common where I’m at and I was looking to get a small UPS and hook up my Pis to it since I have a NAS running on my Pi & I also don’t want the power interruptions to damage it over time/cause any data corruption (generally just want peace of mind that these stupid power interruptions won’t brick my Pis).

Anyways I was wondering since sometimes the power outages in my area can go on for a couple hours, I wanted a way to safely shutdown my Pi in the event that it draws power from the UPS. Is there a script or something that can send a Bluetooth signal to the Pi (since when the power goes out the internet also does too) that can make it perform a safe shutdown?

I was also looking at raspberry pi UPS hats (which I assume would have better integration with safe shutdowns in that regard) but they don’t fit the cases I have them in right now. Or maybe there’s a really small one that just acts as a safe shutdown more than a UPS if anything?
