My Pi 4B 4GB is booting since I can get to it through PuTTY. But ABSOLUTELY no display on TV! I'm running Bookworm as of: 10/24/2024.
I AM plugged into HDMI0 I used a generic HDMI Micro to HDMI short cable. I've also tried a cable with the same configuration, but 4K,
with and without 4K turned ON. I'm getting conflicting information as to whether to ADD option(s) to cmdline.txt or config.txt!
Also, whether, (if any commands) should be placed in: /boot/config.txt or /boot/firmware/config/txt. (same for cmdline.txt).
Here is a list I've seen on various forums and comments:
dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d
max_framebuffers=2
framebuffer_width=1920
framebuffer_height=1080
hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=16
config_hdmi_boost=4
hdmi_force_edid_audio=1
force_hdmi_open=1
hdmi_pixel_encoding=2
hdmi_safe=1
Do I need all these, and where do I put them?!? OR, did I end up with a BAD Pi 4B? Truly flustered over this!
