Hello,
I am currently running to raspberry Pi for B+ 4 gb. One as a nas and the other as a desktop slash Plex server. I recently bought a raspberry Pi 5 and I want to replace my current Plex server with the newer pi. My question is would I see a large performance gain in terms of plex's ability to stream throughout my home into a few remote locations if I were to install a headless OS instead of the desktop OS.
My nas has become my main desktop and I remote VNC or SSH into my other devices from there. If there's not going to be a major performance hit having a headless versus a headed OS I'd rather have the head on it for ease of use but I'm more than comfortable with SSH and the terminal.
