Hi,
Does anyone know if its possible to coerce the Compute Module 4 PCIe to skip the rx-detect phase of PCIe link establishment?
If it's possible, this would require Linux driver modifications, if anyone can point me at what register bits to set, I'm happy to attempt the code myself.
The use-case here is sending PCIe over an optical (SFP+) transceiver. The termination in these doesn't appear to be correct to get the PCIe rx-detect to work. So either skipping the rx-detect or else appropriate additional circuitry is required.
Cheers,
Ralph.
