Advanced users • Is There a Way to Improve Firefox's Program Load Time?

Hi all

I am on RPi4, using RPi OS Desktop, and it works fast and smooth.
This is truly impressive.

There is one program tho, that I feel a speed problem in,
and that is Firefox.

Interestingly, the speed problem is not in the load time of pages, or any kind of usage inside the program,
but in loading the program.

I am on RPi4, Bookworm 32bit Desktop,
(Image file: 2024-07-04-raspios-bookworm-armhf.img.xz)
After a boot, Firefox takes 12 seconds to load.

If you then close it, and re-open it,
it takes 7 seconds to load,
that's an improvement, yet still slow.

Is there anything that can be done, to imrpove the load speed for the program?

BTW, how is it in Chromium?

(I chose Firefox as my browser, and chose to Uninstall the other browser,
so I do not have it for comparison)

BTW:
I should mention that these measurements were done after I disabled some unnecessary features inside Firefox,
such as "Spell Checking" and other stuff.
So this should've helped, but it seems that not much..

Hopefully there's anything that can be done

Thank you
