Hi All,
Apologies if this is the wrong section, wasn't sure which one to use.
I have a RPi 4, trying a few different options to use it as an Audio Streamer. I'm experimenting with Volumio & Moode amongst others.
I have recently bought a pair of Q Acoustics M40 powered speakers which have a USB DAC built-in. The plan here is to make these speakers available via AirPlay and Spotify Connect, thus the Raspberry Pi. I can connect the speakers via USB cable to the RPi and hey presto sound is working perfectly for both Volumio & Moode Audio. However, the speakers have a remote control with play/pause/skip features. If I plug my laptop or iPad into the speakers, I can use the speakers' remote control to control the music playback. I was wondering firstly if this is something that can be done on a Raspberry Pi/Raspbian OS before I go and ask the same question to the relevant forums for these OS's.
Thanks in advance!
