Advanced users • Pi5 - H.264 with YUV444 colorspace

Hi,
I am using Pi5, Raspbian 6.6.31+rpt-rpi-2712, and Chromium v126.0.6478. I am using Frame Remoting Protocol, which uses the H.264 codec with a YUV444 Colorspace.
When I use YUV444 the user experience of the remote desktop session is not great and really different compared when using YUV420.

Q: Is the H.264 hardware decoder powerful enough to support H.264 with YUV44 at 1920x1080 (FHD), e.g., 30 fps?
Q: How to check what the resource utilization of the H.264 decoder is?
Q: Anything else that comes to mind that might cause this?
