HATs and other add-ons • RPi 5 Active Cooling

Hi there everyone, I was just wondering what the purpose of the 4 wires were in the RPi 5 active cooler unit. I thought there would be 2 but the 4 confuse me. Is it for a temp sensor? But RPi 5 has built in temp sensors. I have no idea why there are 4 wires. How would I go about viewing those in C code as well if anyone knows?
