I'm kinda new to coding stuff, I picked up a Pi 3 years ago for a project I wanted to do be found learning python was a combination of me getting bored and wanted to jump ahead or I was above my skill level.
Here I am now and I've decided to convert my original Ender 3 3D printer from Marlin to Klipper and needed to use the Pi I've had laying around for years. A couple years back I was using the same Pi to run OctoPrint but I would have a problem where if I left the Pi on for more than a day it would end up disconnected from the wifi. I'd have to reboot constantly. I stopped using Octoprint because constantly having to reboot seemed counter-intuitive. I found it was just easier to copy the files from my PC to the SD card and then load it up and print.
Now that I've made a few modifications to my printer I needed a way to better calibrate the printer, thus klipper. I'm having a similar problem now though. After a day or so, it disconnects. And in the past 48 hours Ive been unable to reconnect to wifi unless I add a new wpa_supplicant.conf file to the root directory. Once Ive done that it seems to fix the problem, until it happened again a second time today. I had just finished a small print and the Pi hadn't been running longer than 4 hours from a fresh reboot when I went to upload a new gcode.
To give you a quick idea of my setup while I am calibrating klipper and get everything set up and working correctly, on my desk I have a laptop/tablet, a monitor, the Pi and keyboard. The monitor and Keyboard are plugged into the Pi, as well as the Printer.
So I tried to upload the gcode and the browser stalled. The Pi was still responding (as it was the first time) via the keyboard/monitor. I typed in reboot and it did. The Browser reconnected and I was able to upload the file. I started the print and about 5 minutes later it diconnected again. I can't seem to figure out why it keeps disconnecting or how to fix the problem.
