Networking and servers • Looking for a substitute for Real VNC

Hey guys;
I had been using Real VNC on my Windows 11 Pro box to access my RPi 3 B+ for quite some time. It now appears that Real VNC has gone behind the paywall. I am looking for a suitable free replacement for Windows 11 or Ubuntu 22 (my system is dual-boot Ubuntu/Grub and Windows).
What do you recommend?
