Hi, I'm not sure where this fits so posting it here. For sale for zero dollars, we now have an IoT software module geared towards data processing and control and would like to ask for feedback from the community. It's free and will always be free. It comes out-of-the-box with connectivity to CSV files, E-Mail, Excel, MQTT, Power BI, REST, JavaScript, SQLite (plus some commercial offerings) and supports about 50 different IoT devices that you may have on your Pi (more to come).
Currently you'll need Docker installed on a 64-bit Raspberry Pi but depending on feedback, 32-bit may be a possibility. Once the containers are running, everything else can be done in the browser GUI, with graphical task designer and drop in logic, to construct a data processing pipeline that may exchange data with the other modules (i.e., send sensor data to MQTT, Excel, REST service, etc.). You can also use JavaScript for custom logic, all in the browser GUI.
The IoT module is very new and undoubtedly there will be devices missing or gaps in the functionality at times. But please try us and send your feedback! We'd like to push this into the right direction going forward and extend functionality where it matters. You can find more information here: https://www.rensen.io/connect-to-iot-devices/
Thank you!
