Hello,
I am struggling with powering Raspberry pi 5 from anything other than official AC -> DC 5V/5A power supply.
My goal is to make RV control system, so I need this device to be powered from 12V DC installation.
I tried with powerful DC-DC ocnverter which can handle 5V/5A withou problems, but device is not starting from this.
I have tried with 5.1V and 5.0V
Tried with bootloader option max_current = 5000.
When I startup device it only runs for a moment and return back "usb 1-2: device not accepting address 2. error -71"
So how can I run this device from external DC power supply?
