Networking and servers • Using a pi 3b+ as in-car 4g router / info unit.

Hey Everyone,

Hope you're all having a great day!

I am looking to create a simple info unit for my car. I am looking to use an Android Operating System running on my Raspberry Pi 3B+ to give it access to stuff like Google Maps, Spotify etc natively so that I don't need to use my phone with it.

I am wanting to get some advice on how to use my pi as a 4g router, alongside the infotainment part, that will allow me to provide internet connection to passengers, as the Pi itself so that everything is connected and running. I have seen a lot of things online, but I am wanting to only have all that stuff powered by my car when its turned on, e.g through the cigarette lighter.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks,
TheVAAAN

EDIT: I did see this guide on creating a router using a Raspberry Pi Zero W as a 4g router, would it be possible to do this with a Pi 3b+
