MicroPython • How to toggle (programmatically) a 5v DC fan using a Pico W?

I want to use a Pico W to control a 5v fan programmatically.

I'm powering the Pico W via a USB. What is the simplest way to turn on/off the 5V fan using microPython? What other components do I need (MOSFET, etc)?
