Troubleshooting • /dev/lirc0 doesn't show up

Hi,

Here is what I did:
- Connected IR sensor to GPIO (pins, 2 - +5V, 14 - GND, 16 - signal)
- Added dtoverlay to the file '/boot/config.txt': dtoverlay=gpio-ir,gpio_pin=23
- Installed LIRC: sudo apt-get install lirc
- Edited file /etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf:After reboot I don't see device /dev/lirc0. Are there any other conditions for the device to show up?
