Troubleshooting • Issue when trying to flash CM4

Hi all!

I recently bought a [CM4][https://www.waveshare.com/compute-modul ... ?sku=20391] and a [board for that][https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/Compute_ ... E_4G_Board]. I want to flash it in order to install ubuntu on the eMMC.

I am following the guidelines mentioned in most of the online tutorials, I built rpi boot with no problems, I first connected the USB C to A from the board to my computer and then I powered it up.

The next step should be to use the rpi boot tool to make it bootable and then I could either use dd or the rpi-imager to install an os.

When I am running the rpiboot (regardless if its sudo or not), it is stuck in a line like that:

"Waiting for BCM2835/6/7/2711/2712..."

The only choices I can see on the jumpers concerning the booting options are:

A : USB-M.2 (which I do not have or trying to use)
B: PI-M.2 (which I do not have or trying to use)
C: USB-Pi (which was the default and I am assuming is what I need to use, havent changed it also).

I am completely new to that and I am not sure how to approach this problem, has anyone ever experienced the same issue?
