Troubleshooting • Bricked 4B? EDIT: No 3V3

Hello all,

I was hoping I could get a bit of guidance on a 4B that seems to be a very small brick. The current state of it is a solid red LED and rapidly flashing green LED while attempting to boot, it will remain in this state forever (well at least up to a couple of days). At current I have removed all accessories on the unit (previously had a POE hat and drove a 7+ touchscreen display). The scenario plays out with any SD card I have inserted (with various different images), no SD card, and with USB storage attached with or without SD. I have attempted to run the boot loader repair image but, clearly, it's not getting far enough along to do even that.

Backstory - I got this new last June and ran it for a few days to experiment on a couple of ideas. I started with the Debian image available from the Pi Imager app then made an SD card with an Emteria Android image. After using this for a few hours I shut down, removed that card, and put my Debian card back in only to find this scenario. I have never been able to get back to a working state.

Funny enough I bought another Pi 4B to continue my project and on a whim replicated the above scenario, nothing bad ever happened so quite curious.

Edit:. With a bit more research found that I have no 3V3 power on pin 1. I read that the early 4s were garbage when this happens but later ones *may* be repairable. How do I tell the difference? Since I waited almost a year before taking action (life, work, etc.) not sure if PiShop will RMA it. Note - Pi was always in some form of case and never experienced any shorts, odd that 3V3 blew out.

Thanks,
Sequoia
