How to force Pi OS serial console to resolution other than 24x80? We are developing a headless Pi OS profile, using the serial console, however we want to increase the text console resolution to better than 24 rows by 80 columns. We can force this configuration via using stty rows X cols X. But this is a manual step and is not persistent. We need the configuration change to be automatic at boot, and of course persistent. How can this be done? Surprisingly, this seems to be a topic or subject that is just not addressed for Linux in general, never mind Pi OS, be someone somewhere must know how to do this? It is hard coded in the kernel? Is it consoled by some process under control of systemd?
